The WPFFA was
pleased to present a check for $32,358.34 to MDA
for the Labor Day telethon. This money was raised
through our 2009 Fill The Boot campaign and collected from
members of The Woodlands community. View our 'Thank

Previous Headlines: 11/1/2006: The
Woodlands Professional Fire Fighters Association and The Woodlands
Fire Department have signed a new, 3 year Labor Agreement. The
Agreement was negotiated through the Collective Bargaining Agreement
between The Woodlands Fire Department and The Woodlands Professional
Fire Fighters Association, the Bargaining Agent for the suppression
and dispatch personnel employed by The Woodlands Fire Department.
The Agreement includes several adjustments to the previous contract
including wages and benefits that allow TWFD to be more competitive
with other similar communications centers in the area. The
Woodlands Fire Department Dispatchers began dispatching services in
2006 to all Montgomery County (TX) Fire Departments, except Conroe.
